Project Description
The Root team has supported several of Denver’s Neighborhood Planning Initiatives, including the East Center, East Area, and Near Southeast Plans. We have conducted analyses of demographic changes, evaluated the loss of naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH), calculated rental and ownership housing shortages, and assisted with the development of meaningful strategies.

Fun Fact
The supply of attached housing in the Near Southeast planning area has helped keep ownership relatively affordable—yet many of the neighborhoods in this area have experienced price growth that has outpaced pricier neighborhoods.
