Project Description
Root founder Heidi Aggeler was retained by Boulder County, the housing authorities within the county, and the cities of Boulder and Longmont to facilitate a strategic planning session to further regional housing planning. This two day session resulted in a plan to develop a regional Strategic Housing Plan that establishes affordable housing goals and joint policy initiatives. The consortium worked with another women-owned business and Root partner, Williford Housing Consulting, to develop the Strategic Plan document. The regional consortium held its first affordable housing conference in 2018, where Heidi Aggeler led a session on fair housing.
