Project Description

Impact Development Fund and Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity partnered on a development/redevelopment project in the Hill N Park neighborhood in unincorporated Weld County (near Evans and Greeley). The overarching goal of their work in the neighborhood is to improve resident access to affordable housing (rental and owner) and community services. Community engagement was hindered by public gathering restrictions related to the COVID-19 public health pandemic. As a result, IDF and Habitat contracted with Root Policy Research to conduct “virtual engagement” in the form of an online survey (available in English and Spanish. Nearly 10% of current residents responded to the survey to provide their perspective on neighborhood improvements as well as needs specific to their household.
