Project Description
This study, contracted by the Estes Park Economic Development Corporation, quantified the demand for child care in the Estes Valley—a resort economy surrounding Estes Park, Colorado. It also included a comprehensive survey effort of families in the Valley related to their current child care choices and preferences along with an analysis of barriers to accessing care.

At the time this study was conducted, fewer than 25 percent of children in the valley were enrolled in formal child care.
